Our Intention
- Activate members to engage in advocacy.
- Bring environmental education to the membership through events and sponsorship.
- Outreach to environmental groups at the local, state, and national level.
- Engage in the political process through elections and legislative action.
- “Walk the talk” by adopting sustainable practices within our union.
- Help our communities with local activism and by volunteering or holding our own community events.
- Advise the Council 28 Executive Board on environmental issues and opportunities to take leadership.
